Material examined. Female (NHM): “ Colombia: \ Gorgona Island. \ Oct. 1924 \ St. George Expedn. \ C. L. Col- lenette”; “On \ herbage”; “Brit. Mus. \ 1924.—488.”.
Notes on morphology. Body of moderate size (TL 2.8 mm), brown, each elytron with two round concavities in apical portion ( Fig. 8C View FIGURE 8 ), small hooked tuft of setae present in adsutural portion of each elytron. Bursal sclerite missing in the studied specimen, only ovipositor and sternite VIII present. Gonocoxites widely triangular ( Fig. 27C View FIGURE 27 ), with subapical gonostyli.
Remarks. Included in group I due to the following characters: elytra with distinct foveate excitators, wide gonocoxites with subapical gonostyli.
