NOTES: Lister (1911: 243) mentions these collections in the description “Epping Forest ( BM 3085 ); Luton, beds ( BM 3086 ); Staffordshire ( BM 3087 )” and all three were seen in BM. We have chosen BM 3085 as the lectotype, as it is in good conditions and was collected by the Listers. The variety fulgens (“bright”) is included now in the species concept .
