Cribraria tenella var. concinna G. Lister View in CoL , in Lister, Monogr. mycetozoa, ed. 3, 175. 1925

= Cribraria tenella Schrad. , Nov. gen. pl. 6. 1797

Lectotypus (designated here): DOMINICA. Dominica , 15ºN 61ºW, Jul 1897, W. Cran 99 ( BM s.n.!, BM001089954 ) .

BM s.n. Cran 99/ Cribraria tenella / 99 Dominica NXIVp106 7.97/ BM001089954.

NOTES: There is no collection specified in the description of this variety by Lister (1925: 175) but there is a comment that it is present in “ Dominica, Florida , Pensylvania , Colorado, and Iowa ”. In BM we found one box sample ( Cran 99), from Dominica, which we designate as the lectotype since its origin and date suggest it is material studied by G.Lister. In notebook XIV: 106 this specimen is commented on and illustrated. In the same box there is a fragment of another specimen from Antigua 121 with a notebook reference XVI: 144, and the slide bears the number “Cran 99/ Cribraria / tenella Schrad. / minute no cup / Antigua 7.97 N XIV p. 106/ BM001089134 ” mixing information from the two collections. This variety no longer has taxonomic value and is considered to be within the variability of the species .
