NOTES: Penzig (1898: 76) wrote “Auf abgefallenen Blättern und Zweiglein in Botan. Garten von Buitenzorg, nur einmal gefunden (19. December 1896).” [On leaves and fallen branches in Botan. Garden of Buitenzorg, found once (19 December 1896).] In BM no boxes were located, but there are 3 slides (two with the number Penz 120 and reference to notebook XV: 57 and one L:B.M.166 A) that are from the original material as shown by the label data and the notebook and publication references. We have therefore decided to keep them as syntypes since the slides are not in good condition and there may be original material kept in the Penzig collection. Notebook XV: 57–58 has notes and illustrations of the collection Penz. 120. On page 62 another specimen, Penz. 136, is illustrated, but it is from a later date .
