NOTES: In BM there are several collections of Leptoderma iridescens G. Lister labelled as “ Type collection” (see below). We designate here BM 3075 as the generitype specimen, the material is mentioned in the original description and is in good conditions. The genus Leptoderma currently has two species, L. iridescens G. Lister and L. megaspora Aramb. & Spinedi.
