Distribution in mainland China: GD, GX, YN ( Chu & Zhang 1997; Hua 2002).

Other distribution. India, Burma, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hainan, Taiwan, Philippines ( Chu & Zhang 1997; Liu & Beaver 2018).

Biology. The species is very polyphagous and has been bred from small branch wood, woody climbers and logs of large dimensions and particularly from wood attacked while still green ( Liu & Beaver 2018).
