Distribution in mainland China: New record for mainland China.YN,Honghe Qibaofeng, 23°4.42’N 103°23.469’E, 1350m, 20.v.2018, light. L.Z Meng (1) (NME).
Other distribution. India, Burma, Thailand and Vietnam. ( Beaver et al. 2011)
Biology. A true wood-boring species, which has been recorded from several host species by Beeson & Bhatia (1937), Beaver et al. (2011) collected the species from Castanopsis sp. (Fagaceae) .
