Distribution in mainland China: GD ( Liu 2010).
Other distribution. Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia. Introduced to Great Britain and USA ( Liu & Geis 2019).
Biology. The species was found infesting Shorea eximia Scheff. (Dipterocarpaceae) in the Philippine Islands, and Eusideroxylon zwageri Teijsm.&Binn. (Lauraceae) in South Sumatra ( Liu & Geis 2019).
