Type-species: Notosemus dives Brischke, 1888 View in CoL (= Phaeogenes bohemani Wesmael, 1855 ).
Diagnosis
Upper tooth of mandible longer than lower tooth. Gena wide. Occipital carina complete, lower end reaching base of mandible. Areolet truncate above. Tarsal claw simple. Base of area superomedia a little distant from base of propodeum. Propodeal spiracles round or oval. Thyridia very wide, distance between them equal to approximately half the width of each. Lateral sides of second and subsequent tergites almost parallel. Tergites 6 and 7 weakly to strongly concave apically, medially. Ovipositor sheath almost as long as apical depth of metasoma. Upper and lower valves of ovipositor with distinct ridges.
