Type.

Middle East, parasitic on Astragalus , J. E. Haussknecht s.n (G-BOISS, not seen).

Note: Tepals pink to brown in 2 whorls, each with 6 to 10 tepals (Fig. 6G). Found at the basis of young branches of Astragalus and occasionally Onobrychis and Halimodendron in Iran ( Figs 2 View Figure 2 , 3 View Figure 3 ).
