Distribution. State of Eritrea, ( Ethiopia?), Somalia ( Ferrer 2001)
Remarks. With the exception of type locality (Asmara, Eritrea), Salomona, Keren (both in Eritrea) and the locality (Galgalo, Somalia) given by Ferrer (2001) no further exact locality of the studied material is known. Major part of the studied material comes from “ Abyssinia ”, which is the area, previously known also as Ethiopian Empire. That was, what is now Ethiopia and some part south of Eritrea, but at its height the empire also included Northern Somalia, Djibouti, Southern Egypt, Eastern Sudan, Yemen and Western Saudi Arabia. It existed from approximately the 12th century until 1974. However, since the largest part of the empire lies in Ethiopia, I suppose that material which comes from Abyssinia was most likely collected in this country.
