Distribution in Canada and Alaska.

Comments.
Many (21) specimens of Ellescus bipunctatus were captured in Lindgren funnel traps in hardwood and mixed forests in NB; all but one in the canopy of trees. Most specimens were collected from traps in the canopy of quaking aspen, Populus tremuloides Michx. and large-toothed aspen, Populus grandidentata Michx.
