Distribution in China. Anhui, Beijing, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shanghai, Sichuan, Taiwan ( Chu & Zhang, 1997).
Other distribution. India, Nepal, Thailand.
Host plants. Beeson and Bhatia (1937) record the species boring in dead twigs of Mallotus (Euphorbiaceae) and Tephrosia (Fabaceae) .
