Caucasian-East-Mediterranean species distributed in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Iran, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus ( Kvavadze 1985, Omodeo & Rota 1989, Szederjesi 2015, Pavlíček & Csuzdi 2016, Latif et al. 2017).

Distribution in Greece. Rhodes: Agios Isidoros, Kattavia, Koskinou ( Cognetti 1913). Prophitis Ilias ( Zicsi & Michalis 1981). Prophitis Ilias, Aghios Nektarios, Mt. Atavyros ( Szederjesi 2015).

Remark. Helodrilus (Dendrobaena) aegeus Cognetti, 1913 was described from Rhodes and has recently been synonymized with D. pentheri ( Szederjesi 2015) .
