Remarks. Olivier (1886) described a small (5.5 mm long) species with yellowish dorsum having black elytral apices, abdominal segments anterior to the LO black, and the terminal ventrite rounded. He highlighted the rectangular outline of the pronotum which was considerably narrower than the elytra. While the dorsal colour pattern and outline of V7 suggests A bscondita, we do not know of any Abscondita species as small as this.
