According to Carvalho et al. (2017), dorsal shield of female mostly smooth, with faint anterolateral striae, 338 (322–353) long and 206 (198–210) wide. Setal lengths: j1 24 (21–26), j3 29 (27–32), j4 6 (6–7), j5 4 (4–5), j6 5 (5–6), J2 6 (6–7), J5 7 (7–8), z2 16 (15–17), z4 30 (28–32), z5 4 (4–5), Z1 6, Z4 57 (55–60), Z5 78 (76–80), s4 47 (44–48), S2 16 (15–16), S4 6 (6–7), S5 6 (6–7), r3 20 (20–21) and R1 7 (6–8). Peritreme extending to level of j1. Distances between st1–st3 63 (58–64), st2–st2 66 (65–68), st5–st5 62 (58–64). Ventrianal shield 121 (114–133) long and 86 (83–93) wide at level of Zv2. Spermathecal calyx short, saccular, 6 (6–7) long; atrium distinct, resembling a tulip upside down, with an incision opposite the insertion of the minor duct; bifurcate/ vacuolate at juncture with major duct. Fixed cheliceral digit 26 (24–29) long, with ten teeth; movable digit 29 (25–33) long, with three teeth. Macrosetae of legs I–IV, blunt or knobbed; SgeI 26 (24–26), SgeII 23 (22–24), SgeIII 25 (24–26), SgeIV 40 (38–42), StiIV 21 (19–22) and StIV 62 (59–65) .

Distribution in Brazil. Bahia ( Carvalho et al., 2017).

Distribution elsewhere. Not reported.

Remarks. Species described from Brazil and only known from the type specimens.
