Distribution in Iran. Guilan ( Amini et al. 2013).

General distribution. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, South-West Russia. Biology. This species appears to be recorded only from Fagus and Quercus (Fagaceae) ( Stark 1952, Aksent’ev 1993). Recorded in Iran from Carpinus sp. ( Betulaceae ) ( Amini et al. 2013). Aksent’ev (1993) describes the gallery system and larva.
