Specimens examined: UAE: Khor al-Khwair, 1♀, 5.viii.2009, leg. AvH. Wadi Maidaq, 1♀, 5.xii.2007, leg. AvH. Wadi Shawkah, 1♀, 15.iii.2011, leg. AvH.
Discussion: The species was recorded as Lobhargita aureola (Klug, 1832 ), by Schulten (2008), the record being based on a single female from Wadi Maidaq.
Distribution: Canary Islands, northern and northeastern Africa to Arabia and Iran.
