Cephennium silvai View in CoL group
This group includes C. silvai from Portugal and at least one undescribed species from Alicante ( Spain). It is distinguished from other groups recorded from the Iberian Peninsula by a small, slender, moderately convex (cross-section), and bicoloured body, elytra with distinct and long supra-humeral carinae, unmodified male protibiae, and a robust aedeagus with large, but weakly sclerotized internal structures and with thin parameres apically reaching the apex of the median lobe and with short apical seta.
