Current name: Peltigera aphthosa (L.) Willd. ( Peltigeraceae).

Note: Specific epithet spelled “aphtosus” in the protologue. See extensive reviews by Jørgensen & al. (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 115: 273, f. 5. 1994), and by Vitikainen (in Acta Bot. Fenn. 152: 26. 1994).
