Poeciloterpa fusca Lallemand, 1927 View in CoL
( Figs 36–49 View FIGURES 36–43 View FIGURES 44–49 )
Poeciloterpa fusca Lallemand, 1927: 113 View in CoL ; 1949: 86, pl. 3, fig. 6.
In 1949, he provided an illustration of the male terminalia in ventral view on which the subgenital plates are clearly drawn. He did not dissect the type’s genitalia. Here, we provide for the first time, the detailed illustration and description of the male terminalia ( Figs 44–48 View FIGURES 44–49 ) from the paratype. Pictures of the holotype and paratype with their labels are provided ( Figs 36–43 View FIGURES 36–43 ).
Male terminalia ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 44–49 ). In lateral view, pygofer ( Fig. 45 View FIGURES 44–49 ) dorsal margin longer than ventral margin, dorsal margin concaved in middle, ventral margin regularly curved, posterior margin undulating slightly; Subgenital plate ( Fig. 46 View FIGURES 44–49 ) in lateral view, Sickles blade shaped with sharp apex pointing dorsally, entire length covered with hairs; lateral plate with sharp angle pointing anteroventrally. Paramere ( Fig. 47 View FIGURES 44–49 ) with dorsal margin largely convex then abruptly curving up, ventral margin finishing posteriorly by a sharp tip. Set of setae located on roundest part of dorsal margin and ventral margin of paramere.Aedeagus ( Fig. 48 View FIGURES 44–49 ) dorsal margin curving strongly but regularly without any drastic break, apical extension tapering regularly into a sharp apex pointing anteroventrally, posterior protrusion long and narrow, curving abruptly down at ¾ of its length, posteroventral protrusion absent.
