Type locality: Peru, Sahuayaco , 800 m, Echarate, La Convención, Cusco .

Diagnosis. Length 12.5 mm. Body color grayish brown ( Fig. 1a, b View FIGURE 1 ). Eyes with abundant minute ommatrichia. Frons moderately wide, slightly convergent anteriorly, frontal index 2.4 ( Fig. 1c View FIGURE 1 ). Basal callus subquadrate with median dorsal projection extending more than half the height of the frons ( Fig. 1c View FIGURE 1 ). Ocellar triangle and ocelli absent, long gray setulae present near vertex ( Fig. 1c, d View FIGURE 1 ). First flagellomere angulate ( Fig. 1d, e View FIGURE 1 ). Maxillary palpus tapered, with abundant long gray and black setulae ( Fig. 1f View FIGURE 1 ). Scutum dark gray, bearing sparse short yellowish-black setulae, with four parallel longitudinal whitish stripes. Wings slightly infuscated ( Fig. 1g View FIGURE 1 ); vein R 4 without appendix. Abdomen brownish dorsally with median triangles and sublateral spots, distal margin of tergites lighter in color.

Description (Holotype ♀) Female. Head. Length 12.5 mm, wing length 11.5 mm. Body color grayish brown ( Fig. 1a, b View FIGURE 1 ). Frons moderately wide, slightly convergent anteriorly, pruinose gray with short gray and black setulae, frontal index 2.4 ( Fig. 1c View FIGURE 1 ). Basal callus light brown, subquadrate, with median dorsal projection extending more than half the height of the frons, touching subcallus, not touching the eyes ( Fig. 1c View FIGURE 1 ). Eyes blackish with abundant minute gray ommatrichia ( Fig. 1d View FIGURE 1 ). Ocellar triangle and ocelli absent. Vertex pruinose brown with short gray setulae. Subcallus ( Fig. 1c View FIGURE 1 ) pruinose gray, without setulae. Parafacial and gena pruinose gray with abundant long gray setulae and a few short black setulae ( Fig. 1d View FIGURE 1 ). Antennal scape brown with abundant long, erect, black setulae; scape 3X width of pedicel and 1.5X width of first flagellomere, globose and slightly concave on distal margin; pedicel orange, bearing short setulae on distal margin, without dorsal projection. First flagellomere blackish, with an obtuse angle, apical flagellomeres short and thickened ( Fig. 1e View FIGURE 1 ). Maxillary palpus pruinose yellow gray; first segment rounded, yellow-gray with long grayish setulae; second segment 3X length of first, somewhat tapered, with blunt tip and with abundant long gray and black setulae ( Fig. 1f View FIGURE 1 ); median side of palpus without setulae. Proboscis dark brown with yellow-black setulae; labellum large, fleshy, at the same height as head ( Fig. 1f View FIGURE 1 ). Occiput pruinose gray with gray setulae on dorsal margin. Thorax. Scutum dark gray, bearing sparse short yellow-black setulae and four parallel longitudinal whitish stripes. Postpronotal lobes light brown with long black setulae. Scutellum dark gray, laterally with long yellow-black setulae, shorter on the disc. Pleura pruinose gray with long gray setulae; anepisternum with long gray and black setulae; katepisternum and katatergite with long gray setulae. Legs light brown, coxae with long gray setulae, femora with long gray and black setulae; tibiae darker, more setulose, setulae blackish gray; remaining leg segments with short black setulae. Wing slightly smoky and brownish in costal and subcostal cells, with clouds on R 1, R 4, and at bases of discal cell and M 1; R 5 and M 1 convergent; cell r 5 narrowed at the apex; veins Sc and R 1 with short black setulae; vein R 4 without appendix ( Fig. 1g View FIGURE 1 ). Basicosta with short setulae. Halter brown, apex whitish. Squamae concolorous with wing base. Upper calypteres yellowish, lower calypteres lighter, with whitish setulae.

Abdomen. Dark brown dorsally, with median light triangles and dorsolateral rounded light spots; distal margin of tergites lighter; tergites 1+2+3 lighter, tergites 2–7 with gray setulae dorsally, long black and gray setulae laterally, and longest gray setulae on posterior margins ( Fig. 1b View FIGURE 1 ). Sternites pale gray with long gray setulae. Terminalia ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 h-i). Cerci subovoid, heavily sclerotized. Tergite 10 ovoid, medially divided; tergite 9 darkly sclerotized, widely divided. Hypogynial valve with distal border slightly projecting and with long setulae ( Fig. 1h View FIGURE 1 ). Hypogynium strongly convex, wide at base, with long setulae. Genital fork with narrow base, strongly concave, neck wide basally, with large spines present on comb ( Fig. 1i View FIGURE 1 ). Spermathecal ducts extended from genital fork, caudal end of spermathecal ducts with cup-like expansions ( Fig. 1i View FIGURE 1 ).

Male. Length 11.0–13.0 mm, wing length 10.0–11.0 mm ( Fig. 2a View FIGURE 2 ). Similar to female except eyes holoptic with more abundant and longer ommatrichia ( Fig. 2b View FIGURE 2 ). Maxillary palpus short, semicircular, with abundant setulae ( Fig. 2c View FIGURE 2 ). Postpronotal lobe dark brown, with abundant setulae. Wings darker than those of female ( Fig. 2d View FIGURE 2 ). Femora and tibiae darker than those of female, with longer setulae. Abdomen darker than those of female, with sublateral light spots, second tergite with a large median triangle. Terminalia ( Fig. 2e–f View FIGURE 2 ). Dorsal view: cerci darkly sclerotized and slightly acuminate, with long setulae; tergite 9 divided, apically elongated, tapered. Distribution. Provinces of Calca and Urubamba (Cusco). Peru.

Type material. Holotype ♀: Sahuayaco , 800 m, Echarate, La Convención, Cusco, PERU, R. Casafranca coll ( UNSAAC) . Immature stage: unknown.

Etymology. The specific epithet is in honor of the emperor Inca Manco.
