Lectotype (Heath in Calyx 2: 51. 1992): Herb. Burser XVIII(2): 73 ( UPS) .

Current name: Lotus tenuis Waldst. & Kit. View in CoL ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: Specific epithet spelled “corniculata” and varietal epithet “tenuifolia” in the protologue. Greuter (in Taxon 44: 424. 1995) observes that the cited Burser material is a syntype, which therefore takes precedence over any uncited material or cited illustrations, and concludes that it is the obligate lectotype.
