(ph ML 57130461 ) Rint. New record - on 8 July 2006, five individuals were observed by the Grupo de observación de Aves (GOAT) at Hacienda Gascoña (Piedras). On 11 July 2007, an individual was observed in the lagoon complex of Salado (Ibagué). On 7 June 2017, we photographed two individuals in Aparco, located towards the peri-urban area of the municipality of Ibagué. These records correspond to repopulation of this species, as its numbers had declined in past decades (Fig. 4 b View Figure 4 b ).
