DISTRIBUTION: S. Burma; Malaya; Borneo.
COMMENT: McKenna, 1962, Am. Mus. Novit., 2104:1-38, considered vordermanni representative of an undescribed genus, but Muul and Thonglongya, 1971, J. Mammal., 52:362, and Hill, 1961, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., ser. 13, 4: 733-735, retained it in Petinomys .
