Afghanistan, Pakistan, N India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Szechwan and Yunnan ( China), Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra ( Indonesia).
Distribution in Lao PDR ( Fig. 25 View FIG ): Louangnamtha Province: Ban Namya (ROM collection).
Taxonomic notes
Morphologically, in size and noseleaf structure, these specimens appear to match R. lepidus , but a detailed taxonomic study has not yet been undertaken to verify that this is the appropriate name for the species.
