C o m m e n t s: These are the first records of Q. gyges from Qinghai and Shaanxi. The species was until now known from Gansu and Yunnan.
Specimens were collected at moderate elevations of 1900-2850 m in mixed forests (Betula, Populus, Picea) by sifting forest floor litter, dead wood, moss and mushrooms, some were also taken in the same habitat from vinegar baited pitfall traps.
