Type locality: Brazil, Pará: Santarém ( MNHN).
Ozineus dubius Aurivillius, 1922: 170 View in CoL ; Monné, 2005: 115 View Cited Treatment (cat.); Monné et al., 2012: 29 (distr.) syn. nov.
Described from Peru, Huanuco, Pozuzo. The comparison between the syntypes of O. cinerascens View in CoL and photographs of the syntypes of O. dubius View in CoL , deposited in NHRS, allows us to propose the synonymy.
Distributed in French Guiana, Brazil (Pará) and Peru, herein we add Bolivia to the distribution.
