Four ♀ syntypes. A ♀ with labels: “3 28, Guatema-, la, M. H. de Sauss. ” [handwritten on ruled white card]; “Lichenochrus vaginalis Sauss. et P.” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with left wings spread and right wings folded; most of both antennae, the last tarsal segment of the left front leg, the right middle leg and two tarsal segments of the left hind leg are missing. A ♀ with labels: “3 28, Guatema-, la, M. H. de Sauss. ” [handwritten on ruled white card]; “Lichenochrus vaginalis Sauss et P.” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with right wings spread and left wings folded; most of both antennae, the right middle leg, two tarsal segments of the left middle leg and two tarsal segements of both hind legs are lost. A ♀ with labels: “2 14, Guatemala, M. H. d. Sauss.” [handwritten on ruled white card]; “Lichenochrus vaginalis Sauss. et P.” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with wings folded; most of both antennae and the left hind leg are missing. A ♀ with labels: “3 28, Guatema-, la, M. H. de Sauss. ” [handwritten on ruled white card]; “Lichenochrus vaginalis Sauss et P.” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper].
