TYPE LOCALITY: Mexico, Veracruz, Orizaba, 4200 ft. (1280 m) .

DISTRIBUTION: Veracruz, in mountains from 4000-9500 ft. (1676-2896 m) and Puebla ( Mexico); see Heaney and Birney, 1977 (1976), Southwest. Nat., 21:543-545.

COMMENT: Similar to, and probably conspecific with, veraepacis ; see Junge and Hoffmann, 1981:43. See Heaney and Birney, 1977, Southwest. Nat., 21: 543-545 for discussion of distribution.
