Distribution: Pantropical.
Records in Mexico: Veracruz, Quintana Roo, Campeche and Chiapas.
Biogeographic province: Veracruzan. Yucatan Peninsula.
Habitat: Litter. Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation.Pitfall traps in medium rainforest. Collected on epiphytes: Aechmea bracteata growing on Haematoxylum campechianum and Metopium brownei .
