Records in Mexico: Quintana Roo, Veracruz, Campeche and Oaxaca.

Biogeographic province: Sierra Madre del Sur. Veracruzan. Yucatan Peninsula.

Habitat: Soil and litter of fallow, cloud mountain forest and coffee plantations. Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Canopy. Soil and litter of Astrocaryum mexicanum and Guarea glabra . Low flooded rainforest soil. Decaying trunks of Bursera simaruba and Spondias mombin . Pitfall traps in medium rainforest. Leaf litter under trees and bushes in a secondary semi-evergreen tropical forest.
