HOLOTYPE (♀): ‘COLLECTIO / Dr OBENBERGER / MUS.PRAGENSE [p, black frame] // Rhip. spala- / tensis m. / Type! / Spalato [hw]’.
Current status. Valid species, but see remark under R. subdipterus Bosc, 1792 in BATELKA (2007).
