Distribution. Mexico (Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Jalisco, Veracruz, Guerrero, Morelos, Oaxaca, Tabasco, Yucatán), El Salvador, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Brazil (Minas Gerais).
Biology. Reared from cocoon of Acharia Hübner ( Lepidoptera : Limacodidae ) in Costa Rica ( Gauld et al. 1998). One male from Venezuela probably was reared from Sibene sp. ( Limacodidae ), a common pest of cultivated palms ( Gauld 1991).
