Remarks. The species is characterized by its uniform yellow colour. It was described by Klapálek from the State of Espírito Santo but occurs also in Rio de Janeiro ( Jewett 1960) and São Paulo ( Froehlich 1988, Bispo & Froehlich 2004). Here I synonymize K. barbiellinii ( Navás, 1925) , the type of which is lost ( Aubert 1956), with K. flava . The general colour is given as ochraceous, which would be expected of a pinned specimen. The wing membrane is faint yellow and the veins are yellow. The hind tibiae are flattened and a little widened. The forewings are 14.5 mm long. All these characters agree well with those of K. flava and the original locality, Thermas de Lyndoya, now Águas de Lindóia, SP, is well within the possible distribution area of K. flava .
