Diagnosis.
Marginal cell of fore wing open apically (Fig. 15 View Figures 15–25 ); first subdiscal cell of fore wing open (Fig. 15 View Figures 15–25 ); veins m-cu and r-m of fore wing absent (Fig. 15 View Figures 15–25 ); vein cu-a of hind wing absent (Fig. 15 View Figures 15–25 ); clypeus transverse (Fig. 18 View Figures 15–25 ); occipital carina entirely absent (Figs 20 View Figures 15–25 , 21 View Figures 15–25 ); first to third metasomal tergites more or less coriaceous or rugulose.
Distribution.
Palaearctic including West Palaearctic, East Palaearctic [ Japan (new record)] and Oriental.
