Current name: Gentiana nivalis L. ( Gentianaceae ).

Note: Ho & Liu (in Worldw. Monogr. Gentiana : 224. 2001) incorrectly indicated 328.16 (LINN) as the holotype, but the sheet in any case lacks the Species Plantarum number (i.e. “11”), was a post-1753 addition to the collection, and is not original material for the name.
