This species has previously been reported from Venezuela and Trinidad ( Truxal 1953;
Nieser 1967). We present the first records of this species from the US Virgin Islands,
collected from brackish pools adjacent to estuaries at Red Hook Salt Pond and in the mangroves at Magens Beach, where it co-occurred with the previous two species.
