Haliplus youngi (van Vondel and Spangler, 2008)
This haliplid beetle was common in our collections from well vegetated ponds and mangrove pools all over St . Thomas. von Vondel and Spangler (2008) reported it from throughout the Greater Antilles, St. Thomas ( one specimen), and St. Croix ( two specimens). The type locality is in Puerto Rico .
