Enochrus bartletti ( Short, 2004) View in CoL
The type locality for this hydrophilid species is Cruz Bay, on St. John. It is reported from St. Thomas, St. Croix and Puerto Rico, as well as other Caribbean Islands ( Short 2004; Ivie et al. 2008; Meurgey and Ramage 2020). We found it commonly in marginal vegetation in ponds all over St. Thomas, including small plastic ornamental ponds with aquatic plants, and in Spring Road ghut at the springhead.
