Description. Rostrum far overreaching antennal scale, armed dorsally throughout length with 11–14 teeth, including 3 or 4 on carapace posterior to level of orbital margin, 2–4 posteriormost teeth with distinct basal sutures but none with barbed tips, armed ventrally with 5–8 teeth; abdomen without posteromesial tooth or median dorsal carina on 3rd somite; eye broadly subpyriform, maximum diameter about one-fourth carapace length, ocellus large, subcircular, in broad contact with cornea; 3rd maxilliped with epipod, penultimate segment 1.2–1.5 times as long as terminal segment; 2nd peropods subequal with epipod, bearing 18–30 carpal articles ( Chace 1985).
Distribution. Known only from the Philippines at depths of 95–250 m ( Chace 1985).
