Diagnosis. Frontal groove widened; pronotum wider than long, with acute postocular lobes, and decumbent setae; scutellum protruding; elytra with angulate and projecting humeri, interstriae with rounded tubercles, and abundant setae; scales elongateovate, uniformly covering striae, contiguous to slightly
overlapping, present on intestriae; elytra lacking white bands; and male legs with abundant setae. Total length (pronotum 1 elytra): 13–31 mm.
Distribution. Brazil.
Material Examined. BRAZIL. Espirito Santo: Linhares, Parque Sooretama , XI1967, A. Martínez coll., 3 paratypes ( MACN) .
