North Sea: North Frisian Islands (Sylt), Norway (Korsfjorden, Håkonsund, Bondisholmen), Netherlands (Scheldt estuary: Oosterschelde); Baltic Sea: Kiel Bight ( Karling 1965; Pawlak 1969; Faubel 1974b; Martens and Schockaert 1981).
