Baltic Sea: Gulf of Finland (Tvaerminne area), Greifswalder Bodden, Kiel Bight, Nord-Ostsee Kanal; North Sea: German Bight (estuaries of rivers Weser, Elbe), North Frisian Islands (RØmØ, Sylt), England (Tynemouth); English Channel: England (Yealm estuary); Mediterranean Sea: Gulf of Lion (Étangs), Sea of Marmara, Black Sea; Europe: Germany (Lower Saxonia: salt-lake in Harz mountains, Elbe river) (v.
