Material examined. Incheon-si (37°59′01.65″N, 124° 40′29.71″E), Korea; by SCUBA diving; collected by JK Park and YC Lee on 12 August 2020 GoogleMaps .
Deposition. NIBRIV0000879438 - 40.
World distribution. Japan and Korea.
Diagnosis. Shell small, glossy, translucent white and rounded-pyriform in shape. Spire immersed. Body whole occupies most of the shell length, shoulder very broad with round edge. Outer lip thick, especially near shoulder, inner margin finely denticulated, receding both above and below. Apex rounded, lower than the posterior end of lip. Columella with four distinct plaits near the anterior end. Animal body blackish brown in color.
Remarks. In shell morphology, G. cotamago is similar to other species belonging to the same family. This species is distinguished by the posterior end of lip elevated than apex and mantle edge of the animal body colored with blackish brown.
