Distribution in Iran. Iran (no locality cited) ( Majer 1996a; Mayor 2007).

New material examined. Fars province, Oak Nature Reserve next to Dash-e Arzhan , 2100–2300 m, 29°34’02’’N 51°56’44’’E, 29.iv.2010, 2 ♂♂, 5 ♀♀, leg. D. Frenzel, det. I. Plonski, coll. I. Plonski & NMEG GoogleMaps ; Fars province, 1 km W of Sangar , 29°59’50’’N 52°08’07’’E, 30.iv.2017, 2 ♂♂, 12 ♀♀, leg. Oboňl, det. I. Plonski, coll. I. Plonski & BMNH GoogleMaps .

General distribution. Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey.

Comments. The males reported above from the Oak Nature Reserve next to Dash-e Arzhan match the original description of the junior subjective synonym D. attenuatus well, especially in the shape of the median lobe ( Majer 1991a: fig. 90); D. attenuatus was described from Iraq and synonymized by Majer (1996b).
