Type material. CHINA, Sichuan Province: Holotype female from Guangyuan City, Qingchuan County, Qingxi Town , Sijiaowan Village , 32.63°N, 104.81°E, 2102 m, 7 May 2013 , J. Yang, L. Zhao & X. Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type locality, the Qingxi Town; adjective.

Diagnosis. The female of P. qingxiensis Zhang, Jäger

& Liu, spec. nov. can be distinguished from those of all congeners by LL fused along median line in combination with the striking reticulate part of the vulva.

FEMALE (LJ2125): Measurements: Small sized. Body length 7.6–8.2, DS length 3.7, width 2.9, OS length 4.1, width 2.8. Eyes: AME 0.14, ALE 0.19, PME 0.16, PLE 0.22, AME–AME 0.13, AME–ALE 0.07, PME– PME 0.18, PME–PLE 0.32, AME–PME 0.28, ALE–PLE 0.23, CH AME 0.36, CH ALE 0.30. Spination: Pp 131, 101, 2121, 1014; Fe I–II 323, III–IV 322; Pa I–III 101, IV 100; Ti I–II 2228, III–IV 2126; Mt I–II 2024, III 3025, IV 3036. Measurements of palps and legs: Pp 4.6 (1.3, 0.6, 0.9, –, 1.8); I 16.8 (4.6, 2.3, 4.5, 4.0, 1.4); II 19.8 (5.2, 2.5, 5.4, 4.9, 1.8); III 15.7 (4.4, 2.0, 4.2, 3.8, 1.3); IV 17.3 (5.0, 1.5, 4.4, 4.7, 1.7). Leg formula: II-IV-I-III. Cheliceral furrow with ca. 28 denticles.

Epigyne ( Figs 203A–C View FIGURE 203 ): As in diagnosis. EF wider than long.AB indistinct.Anterior margins of LL V-shaped, on one side bulging, on the other side sligtly undulating. Some “fusion bubbles” present along median line of the former border between LL. IDS with loops posteriorly, and its anterior part covered by reticulate grid structure. FD short, narrow, situated posteriorly, tips dorsad.

Colouration ( Figs 204A–B View FIGURE 204 ): DS yellow with dark spots and marbled pattern inbetween. Fovea marked by a pair of close dots anteriorly and a triangular patch posteriorly. OS dorsally yellow with lots of marks and irregular pattern, with a transverse reddish-brown line and reddish-brown region at posterior part. OS ventrally yellow with several reddish-brown dots, irregular arranged.

MALE: Unknown.

Distribution. China (Sichuan Province).

Variation. OS reddish brown (holotype with an irregular yellow pattern in posterior half of OS in dorsal view). Posterior margins of LL straighter than in holotype.

Distribution. China (Yunnan Province) and Myanmar (Shan State; new record).

Variation. Males: Tip of dRTA smooth. Females: LL of IDS extending laterally more than half of their length beyond its first winding (only slightly extending beyond FW in paratype).
