Type material. CHINA, Taiwan Province: Holotype female from Taibei City, Yangmingshan National Forest Park , 25.03°N, 121.52°E, 441 m, 5 July 2013, J. Liu leg. ( CBEE, LJ02623 ) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 2 females, with same data as for holotype ( CBEE, LJ02628 LJ02629 ); 4 females, Hsinchu County, Wufeng Township, Guanwu Mountain National Forest Park, 24.60°N, 121.11°E, 591 m, 2 July 2013, J. Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type locality, Yangmingshan National Forest Park; adjective.

Diagnosis. The female of P. yangmingensis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. is similar to that of P. recta by: 1) Lateral parts of FW turned dorsad, with one flat loop directed mediad; 2) LL touching each other along the middle line, but can be distinguished by: 1) Anterior margins of LL distinctly curved; 2) Lateral margins of FW parallel (anterior margins of LL transversally straight and lateral margins of FW anteriorly diverging in P. recta ).

FEMALE (LJ02623): Measurements: Medium sized. Body length 6.8–7.6, DS length 3.7, width 3.2, OS length 3.9, width 2.3. Eyes: AME 0.13, ALE 0.24, PME 0.17, PLE 0.20,AME–AME 0.13,AME–ALE 0.07, PME– PME 0.18, PME–PLE 0.32, AME–PME 0.27, ALE–PLE 0.22, CH AME 0.34, CH ALE 0.28. Spination: Pp 131, 101, 2121, 1014; Fe I–II 323, III 322, IV 322; Pa I–III 101, IV 100; Ti I–II 2228, III–IV 2126; Mt I–II 2024, III 3025, IV 3036. Measurements of palps and legs: Pp 5.8 (1.5, 0.9, 1.2, –, 2.2); I 14.5 (4.1, 1.7, 3.9, 3.6, 1.2); II 17.2 (7.7, 2.6, 7.9, 7.0, 2.3); III 12.5 (3.8, 1.5, 3.2, 2.9, 1.1); IV 13.8 (4.3, 1.0, 3.4, 3.8, 1.3). Leg formula: II-I-IV-III. Cheliceral furrow with ca. 18 denticles.

Epigyne ( Figs 266A–C View FIGURE 266 ):As in diagnosis. EF distinctly wider than long, without AB. Anterior margins of LL almost parallel to posterior margins. FW well developed, covering entire IDS in dorsal view. FD long, narrow.

Colouration ( Figs 267A–B View FIGURE 267 ): DS yellow with very distinct dark spots and lines. Fovea and striae distinctly marked. OS dorsally reddish-brown, with lots of yellow dots. OS ventrally yellow, with several reddish-brown marks laterally, irregular arranged.
