Setarches parmatus, Goode , Proc. U. S. Nat. Mus., III. pp. 480, 481, Feb. 16, 1881.

Two specimens, respectively 53 mm. and 52 mm. long, were taken at Station 327, Lat. 34° O' 30", Long. 76° 10' 30", at a depth of 178 fathoms. These specimens and the type of the species are the only three examples known.
