The relaxed zooids are erect above a colourless translucent mass ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 ). The muscles have the same pattern as previously described ( Monniot & Monniot 1996 figs A,B,C). The fibers issuing from the siphons run vertically, the most ventral of them curve to reach the endostyle, the most dorsal extend onto the abdomen. The thorax has a square shape with numerous stigmatal rows. The stomach is elongated with numerous thin longitudinal folds. The anatomical characters are uniform everywhere. D. angulata was previously found in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.
